Library Rules and Regulations
In order to maintain an organized and conducive environment for learning, all students are
expected to adhere to the following library rules:
- Library Hours: The library is open
from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on all school days. Students must visit the library during their allocated
library periods or free time.
- Silence: Silence must be maintained
at all times. Discussions or group activities are only permitted in designated areas.
- Book Borrowing: Students may borrow
up to 2 books at a time for a period of 2 weeks. Books can be renewed if they are not in demand by other
students.
- Book Care: All books must be handled
with care. Damaged or lost books must be reported immediately, and a replacement or fine will be
required.
- No Eating or Drinking: Eating and
drinking are strictly prohibited inside the library to preserve the condition of the books and the
cleanliness of the space.
- Personal Belongings: Bags, food, and
drinks are not allowed inside the library. Personal belongings should be left in the designated area at
the entrance.
- Use of Computers: The library's
computer facilities are reserved for academic purposes only. Browsing or playing games is not allowed.
- Return of Books: All borrowed books
must be returned by the due date. Late returns will incur a fine of ₹5 per day.
- Library Cards: Every student must
present their library card when borrowing books. Lost cards must be reported and replaced at the cost of
₹50.
Failure to follow these rules may result in restricted access to library services. We encourage all students
to respect the library space and make the most of this invaluable resource for their personal and academic
development.
